Hello. I’m Lauri Kieksi, and this is my portfolio. I work at Crasman as a visual designer, mainly dealing with interface design, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In my free time I'm a Japan enthusiast, web usability nerd, music addict and a lover of spicy food. I'm also available for freelance work, so drop me a line.

Vianor is a global tire and car service chain and the biggest chain of tire stores in Northern Europe. As the first of several Vianor site revisions to come, Vianor's Russian website sports a fresh new look and a freshly-designed and developed Crasmanager-based tyre web store. I was responsible for interface design and graphics.
Helsinki Airport is Finland's largest airport and among the top international airports in Europe. The Helsinki Airport website is based on Crasman's Crasmanager CMS, and the site refresh launched in early December 2010 aimed to make airport shop weekly deals and social media features more discoverable.
Dextra is a modern private healthcare company operating private facilities at two locations in Helsinki, Finland. Over the Summer of 2010, Crasman Co Ltd designed and produced a fresh new website for the company, featuring services such as online appointment booking. I was tasked with designing the site's new look from the ground up.
SkyHow's mission is to manage and develop the human dimension of Air Traffic Management. SkyHow's fresh website is built on Crasman's Crasmanager CMS. I was given the opportunity to design the website based on brochure material the company already had on hand, as well as delve into certain JavaScript implementations used on the site.
Realprojekti Ltd is a consulting company that provides its customers with added value by utilising its solid real estate market expertise. Realprojekti's website is based on Crasman's Crasmanager CMS. As part of a content update, the site was given a new look, which I was tasked with designing.
UNICEF Finland was established in 1967 to raise funds for UNICEF programmes around the world both for the protection of children in emergencies and for UNICEF's longer-term work. The website of UNICEF Finland was given a facelift in November 2010. Some of the goals of the site refresh were the unification of various subsections and better incorporation of rapidly changing content.
Eilakaisla is a leading Finnish recruiting and staffing company founded in 1971. The company operates at 14 locations across Finland. Eilakaisla's Extranet, named KaislaNet, was migrated onto Crasman Co Ltd’s Crasmanager CMS and I got to design a new look and feel for KaislaNet. In addition to interface design I participated in developing functionality and features. Later I also helped design a new front page for the company's public web service.
IIC-Intersport International is an international sports retail chain with over 5300 retail stores in 39 countries across the globe. September 2010 saw the launch of Intersport Finland's Crasmanager 5.2-based Intranet service, for which I was given the opportunity to design the user interface, based on Intersport International's look and feel. In August 2011 we began work on an interface refresh for Intersport Finland's public website.
Along with Vianor Russia, the parent company Nokian Tyres' Russian website relaunched with a webstore in August 2011. The main site retained the familiar Nokian Tyres look and feel designed by digital agency Nitro Group Oy, but I was tasked with designing the store and checkout interfaces which had to adhere to a more minimal aesthetic for the sake of clarity and usability.
Atacama Labs was founded as a patenting and IPR consulting company, but evolved into a pharmaceutical company through strategic acquisitions. The company has locations in Finland, Great Britain, Germany and Switzerland. Atacama Labs has long relied on Crasman Co Ltd's Crasmanager CMS for website upkeep, and in 2010 wished to revise their website layout and content structure.
